It's behind the lovely Chateau de Vincennes- we walked past but didn't have time to go in this trip. I will just have to go back to Paris- still so much to see and do despite just having spent a month there.
Parc Floral is a huge park. That seemed very well used on this beautiful Paris summer afternoon. People were playing cards, dancing, lounging in hammocks, picnicing and drinking wine.
There is always a tourist dragging a suitcase wherever you go... |
Some of Parc Floral looked rather unFrench to me. The huge pond of lotus plants.
This one was from 1896! |
We only saw a tiny piece of this lovely park, and didn't get anywhere near the mini golf with monuments of Paris! Yet another reason that I already want to return to Paris, even though I haven't made it back to Australia yet.

Maybe it is inborn. Maybe it is injected via the marvelous French food. We do not know why. But no sooner do we leave than we wish we could return. And it probably does not end with death.
A part of Paris completely unvisited by me -- something that obviously will need correcting soon! Lovely!
lovely! I want to play on THAT mini-golf!!
I haven't been blog hopping for a few weeks so I am about to live vicariously through you. This seems like a great place to soak up Paris!
A month in Paris sounds heavenly. It would be hard to get back to my real world though. I'm just finishing up a week of a "staycation," sitting in my house and relaxing, and even doing that, it's hard to think of going back to work on Monday. After a month in Paris, they'd have to drag me back kicking and screaming.
That is thoroughly inviting. Such a lovely park and so much to see and do. One of these days I will make it to Paris.
Hi Louise , thank you for commenting on my blog ,, would love to know how you found me :-)
I am in shock with this post ,, I WAS there on July 13th this year , with two friends, one lives in Paris and one in the suburbs,, and I had never been before and nor had they , or maybe once , but never for the concerts , wasn't it just amazing for 5.50 euro entrance fee to the parc ,, It is a super place, I was only in Paris for 5 days this time ,, oh my word, what a small world.
I like your observation that there's always someone in every Paris locale who has a roller bag in tow.
I knew nothing about this park. Never heard of it. And it looks so darned lovely!
I've seen it mentioned but didn't pursue it
Now I must. What fun you had
We haven't been to visit Paris. This Parc looks wonderful. Nice photos - thanks for sharing.
