I'm curious how lists come about. This one must have been a collaborative effort between an old librarian and a pretty new one.

And on every list there are always a few odd choices. Library Lion? Really?

This list seems to have been selected by staff at Entertainment Weekly. There is a short blurb about each book at the website I linked.

There are always some interesting and heretofore unknown on every list- I've never heard of Library Lion.
