Top Ten Tuesday is a great weekly meme from the folks at The Broke and the Bookish. I've been a rather infrequent Top Tenner for some time. Most of the time I don't have time to participate, but occasionally I manage to check out the schedule before hand and get myself organised. This makes two weeks in a row!
Still I would be very happy to unwrap any of these gems.

I do have to get better at reading books that were presents. I don't always get them read, and so Mr Wicker is reluctant to buy me books. I have to fix that.

The Fault In Our Stars is a popular book today! I've already got my own copy or else it'd be on my list too! Great picks :)

I bought Goldfinch for my husband and figure I'll borrow it sometime. I've always wanted to read The Secret History as well.

I so relate to your comments about not wanting to acquire to many books but never being able to get through the big tomes on the library's timetable. I find myself sometimes halfway or 2/3 of the way through a book and have to return it to the library because its requested - I get so frustrated with myself! Glad you did get a couple on your wish list!
On my wish list this year for Christmas were books by Matthew Quick and Sarah Zarr, along with author memoirs. I received two by Zarr and a couple memoirs. I've scheduled myself to review the latter in January, so that I know I'll actually read them in a timely fashion. :-)
