Panoramas of New Zealand

I spent a wonderful two weeks in Nelson, New Zealand over Christmas and New Year. It's a beautiful area at the top of the South Island. I've been very lucky and visited the area quite often.

I don't always take that many photographs there for some reason, but this year we played with the panorama setting on my camera.

Pupu Springs (actually Te Waikoropupu Springs)
Australasia's largest spring and the world's clearest fresh water

I do like a good panorama shot. I should check if my phone or camera has that setting!

What a beautiful group of photos. All those different moods you have captured. I think my favourite is the Pupu Springs, with all those lights in the water.

Daughter and son-in-law were in New Zealand (Nrth Island) working for a year and a half. These pictures show wonderful scenery. They may have been in some of these places when they took a tour of the South Island. Thanks for sharing.

Cheri and I have never been to New Zealand. Your photos excite and inspire a visit.

We have read and seen (movies) Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit and told that the sets were in NZ.
