I spent a wonderful two weeks in Nelson, New Zealand over Christmas and New Year. It's a beautiful area at the top of the South Island. I've been very lucky and visited the area quite often.
I don't always take that many photographs there for some reason, but this year we played with the panorama setting on my camera.

Daughter and son-in-law were in New Zealand (Nrth Island) working for a year and a half. These pictures show wonderful scenery. They may have been in some of these places when they took a tour of the South Island. Thanks for sharing.

We have read and seen (movies) Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit and told that the sets were in NZ.
