Yesterday was National Bookshop Day, an initiative that started in 2011 to help our ailing bookshops survive in the modern ebook world. Thanks to Lisa at ANZ Litlovers for reminding me to go, and spurring me on to do a post.
I popped in to my local bookshop, and bought a few things. I went to buy one book, but in the way of good readers everywhere came out with more.
I went to buy The Cartographer.
Which will be my Melbourne read for my upcoming trip. I'm very excited about it.
Then I found the new range of Vintage Childrens Classics. I was very good and only bought one.
I bought two books for my son.
Now to get the time to read some of them....
