During the week I noticed a cool reflection on the splash back in the kitchen. It took me a while to work out where it came from. It was from a plate on the bench!
Whoa! You definitely don't see something like that often often. I don't suppose anyone could create it deliberately, either; it's just the accident of the place being in the right place and someone seeing it.
I love reflections, and have had quite a few interesting ones here in my house. When I do have a chance to photograph them, they never turn out as well as yours did.

That's just weird. My first impression from the photo was "mushroom cloud".
Reflection tracking can be a lot of fun though.
"a plate" would have been my last guess just about. Really odd and amazing all the same.
Oh wow, that's kinda creepy. Like a ghost image or something.
Awesome! I would never have guessed what caused it, but I like it.
Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
What an odd reflection. One of life's little marvels. LOL
I never would have guessed what that was! Like the first commenter, my first thought was mushroom cloud, LOL. Great picture!
What an intriguing shot! I had the same first impression as Melissa ... mushroom cloud.
I'm not seeing a plate in that reflection but it sure makes an interesting image.
Looks like you have a jellyfish visiting your kitchen... what a crazy picture!

Such a strange image! Like a chanterelle mushroom!
What a vivid reflection! Impressive, and neat you were able to capture it.
What a great looking reflection. And good catch!
I thought mushroom cloud too...isn't that weird??
I thought it looked like two images overlaid - one of them being a wall sconce.
Awesome reflection..!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
I love tracking down where reflections come from. This one is very cool. Here's Mine
How bizarre! Seeing the word 'bone' in your title made me think this could almost be an xray of a bone spur. Cool reflection!

What a great shot -- such an interesting reflection. You were quite lucky to catch it.
