Such a great opportunity to appreciate the diversity of butterflies, their colours, textures and shapes.
I always like watching the new butterflies emerging from their chrysalids.
This was also the warmest half an hour we spent in London, on a rather cool "summer" week.
Saturday Snapshot is a wonderful weekly meme now hosted by WestMetroMommy

Beautiful Louise.
I had never been to a butterfly house before our trip to Bali earlier in the year. This makes me realise that it can be done a whole better :-)
Any butterfly house is worth visiting in my book Brona. Even the little one at Changi airport in Singapore is good.
You made my day by posting these photos. I love Butterflies!!
Here is my snapshot post
Aaaaghghgh! I loathe Butterfly Houses! Can't breathe..can't breathe... and all those WINGS and FLUTTERING...can't breathe.
I must admit that they are beautiful photos. I can't ever look at the butterflies because I'm too busy rushing for the exit because - can't breathe, can't breathe!!!
Love the color of that second butterfly. Beautiful!
New to me. I've never heard of a butterfly house, but I want to visit one. Beautiful!
We went to one at the state fair last year. It was pretty amazing! Yours pictures are wonderful.
What wonderful photos - they are really gorgeous, so clear. But what a shame it's only a temporary exhibition. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/1SXA7W
I've only been to one butterfly exhibit but I loved it and spent a long time there. How fun to discover one in London!
m glad that you got the theme of our collage. We worked hard for it. We used bits of papers from Magazines, Newspapers and handmade paper etc. We tore the papers with our fingers and pasted those. It took us three hours.
I have never seen such a wide variety of butterflies all in one place! What a great place to visit. And thanks for sharing.
Also, thanks for visiting my blog.
Gorgeous photos. You should read Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver. It is about the flight of the monarch butterfly and of course a great storyline.
THANKS for stopping by my blog earlier.
I like the second shot of the Empire State Building better too :)

My Saturday Snapshot
What a sensational collection of butterfly photos! All beautiful. You must have had a wonderful time in London.
Fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing. I too love butterfly houses and gardens. That's why DH and I try to get the cruise that stops at Key West so we can visit the butterfly house there.
It was very cold when we visited in England July 2005. I didn't realize they had such cold summers.
Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! It's a shame they are such short-lived creatures.
I've been trying to encourage them to come to my yard by providing some of the plants they prefer but so far, not much luck.
Wonderful photos as usual. I have never been to a butterfly house or exhibit. They have one in Denver, not that far from home. I need to make an effort to visit that one. Thanks for the beautiful butterflies.
What beautiful butterflies. You got some really good photographs.
So beautiful! I went to a butterfly garden in Florida once and it was very impressive. When you get used to what lives in your own area you forget what a huge variety there really is!
They are amazing! Nature is so wonderful.
