Such an intriguing list, even if it is from 2014. So many books (and authors) that I've never heard of, let alone never read. Sadly my library only has one of these titles (Melrose and Croc) so it won't be an easy thing to read this list.

I wonder at this list. Lots of my favorites here including Treehorn, Eloise, Pippi, Eighteenth Emergency, and Maira Kalman. You do know Maira Kalman, do you, Louise?
All of these books have stories where people are intuitive rather than rational, I think. I like that about them, too.
I will try to see what I can find over here in the US.
I've read 8, and I've just now requested 4 at the library. Happy.
I do know of Maira Kalman Deb-because of you actually.... I've never managed to read any of her books. Which 4 were you able to request at your library? I'd love to hear what you think of them when you get to read them.
I ordered a few online because otherwise I had no access to them - Treehorn, Emily Brown and the Thing and Whistle for Willie I think. My library has Melrose and Croc I've requested that.
