Eiffel Tower

Gustave Eiffel's iconic tower is perhaps one of the most recognised buildings in the world. Certainly a potent symbol of Paris, it inspires longing and memory in many of us.

And she looks great photographed from any angle. From afar

Or up close and personal.

I'm so looking forward to seeing her again this year.

Dreaming of France, a great Monday meme from Paulita at An Accidental Blog

I totally agree we must have taken 100s of photos of the Tower last August from every possible angle.

Jealous of your upcoming trip. My favorite is the black and white. So dramatic, Thanks for playing along. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

The Eiffel Tower seems to be emblazoned on everything these days - there's something really magnetic about 'her' powers of attraction. She certainly strikes a stunning silhouette.

It makes no difference how many times I am there-I always take photos of the tower.

I still remember from high school when I had opportunity to visit Paris and take photos of the Eiffel Tower. Some of mine are at night, which makes the tower look particularly majestic. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful. You've just amped up my wanderlust urges to the max!
I love all the internal structural photos showing off her details - it made me realise that I have similar looking shots of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. They could be sisters :-)

Love the up close shots. It's been a very long time since I saw the Eiffel Tower in person. Maybe now that I have an old high school friend living in Paris, I should plan a trip.

Me too.

I was amazed to see it light up the night we had a picnic at its feet. Unexpected.
