Royal Easter Show

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is an institution. Last year I made my first (and thus far only) visit. It was a fun day. I ate Deep Fried Cheesecake- amongst other delights!

Although I don't eat this stuff

There are all sorts of rides.

My young nephew being terrified out of his mind.

What fun! We have deep fried chocolate bars at our fairs . . . I'm sure cheese cake will be next.

Oh, wow, these make me want to go to a fair....now!

Love the colorful costumes, wigs, boots, etc. I can almost feel the rides!

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

I don't go on those rides anymore, but I agree, save the cheesecake for later. I still like the fairs, though we mostly go to the hometown fair and that's all.

The cotton candy picture is great -- the colors and the way you framed it make a really striking image.

Love the colors! I used to love the fair when I was a teen! I can almost smell the cotton candy!

Oh...just the thought of deep-fried cheesecake, especially when mentally paired with spinning roller coasters, makes me feel ill...but maybe it's just too early in the morning! Looks like you had fun. :)

We have a fair here every fall...it's a little crazy though. Fried cheesecake :p but my youngest daughter and I are crazy about cotton candy! :)

I'm beginning to believe you can deep fry almost anything and people will eat it! The fun part of a fair is the people watching. :)

At our state fair here in Ohio, we deep fry everything, but I don't usually try it. They have deep fried Twinkies, oreos, even butter. Ick. Great fair photos. Here's Mine

I need a colourful wig like that! The only ride I like is the merry-go-round, the rest, well, let's just say I give them a wide berth.

That looks like so much fun! And the fried cheesecake sounds pretty good - I bet it was gooey!

They seem to make all sorts of deep fried things at carnivals around Texas. Though Deep Fried Cheesecake is new to me.....

I had to laugh at the man with the pink hat - too cute! I haven't tried deep fried cheesecake, but I've had it frozen/dipped in chocolate on a stick, and it rocked that way!

I would happily eat deep-friend cheesecake topped with fairy floss :)
