I was very lucky and had a recent trip to Texas. A garden centre in Houston has a fabulous array of topiary creatures in the centre of the road outside the centre. I just loved them.
What a unique setting for these creations. Thanks for sharing.
When I lived in the foothills a few years ago, there was a Topiary artist who lived on the outskirts of the village. He had interesting creations, too.
OK, I had no idea that Houston had something like that. Lucky that there was enough green to cover them. Texas is brown, brown, brown right now, but Houston has had more rain than Central Texas. The longhorn is my favorite!
These are great. My kids used to play a computer game called "Putt Putt Saves the Zoo" where they say a song called, "We are the topiary creatures, we're very pleased to meet cha." Here's Mine
I love those topiaries! I've driven through Houston before, but I literally just drove through -- all I remember is a twelve-lane interstate and lots of skyscrapers.

Now that's something you don't see everyday, how unique!
How clever! And what a good advert for the garden centre.

Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and

I wonder how many drivers do a double take thinking a deer is about to run across the road.

That is so cool! They remind me of chia pets a little bit. I think I'd be doing a double-take making sure they weren't real deer. :)
Those are terrific! It would be so fun to have those in the yard.
Here's my snapshot!
I thought they were real in the first one! That's so cool. :)
Gorgeous! It reminds me of Narnia!
(Do you think I read too much? LOL)
Those are cool I agree with the Narnia comment :-)
