I love book fairs and this one looks a real success. You came away with some good books - I've had The Pattern in the Carpet on my wishlist for a while - enjoy your reading.
I love the opportunity to browse through a hoard of books, new or old. Quite a haul there for you!

We have a huge annual book fair in St. Louis that supports child care -- always a fun place to see books and the people who love them.

Love book fairs. I have to wonder if training the horses that way may not be too stressful for them.
That does look like an excellent book fair. I like the fact that Winnie the Pooh is tucked in the middle of your haul.
Love book sales-okay what is Why I hate Canadians-I did not think anyone hated us.
I think book fairs have something for everyone most of the time. Funny that the Canadians aren't familiar with Will Ferguson. I don't think anyone hates Canadians particularly. Indeed Will Ferguson is a Canadian satirist. I've only ever seen a little bit about his books before, and of course book fair prices are too good to pass up, so it came home with me. It's not currently on the reading schedule though.
Pattern in the Carpet is on my TBR pile too...and that was a Thiele title I didn't know.
I was in Bathurst this weekend (although briefly and busily)...missed the book fair & a chance to meet up with you - drats!

The book fair was actually last weekend Brona, still it was a close call- sorry to miss a meet up opportunity.
Love book sales as fundraisers ... my latest haul replaces what I donated ... smiles.
That's a fair I won't be attending in Paris unfortunately.

Such a nice book fair...
I have greatly enjoyed having Book Worm Central as my Virginia book fair vendor. They are efficient, courteous, and endlessly helpful. I have always been pleased with the book When I call, I speak to someone who really knows the business and can get me the answers I need. I know the staff’s names and they know mine, unlike some larger companies where I feel like I’m just another unknown customer. I highly recommend Book Worm Central as the best Virginia book fairs experience you will ever have in this area
