Hmm, can't get much worse than that. I have considered reading some of these books, most notably Eleanor and Park (I saw Rainbow Rowell in Melbourne recently, she's very funny I must read something of hers), Dumplin' and Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda (which I actually have in the house). Many of the others I've never heard of, and some of them I know wouldn't be to my taste.
June 2018 1/15 YAY!
The only one on that list I've read is Eleanor and Park. It's her first novel and is good, but her second novel, Fangirl, is much better. I'm struggling through her third, I'm afraid. So if you want to try Rainbow Rowell, I recommend Fangirl. It 's a delight, especially if you're familiar with the world of online fan fiction.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, I'm not really au fait with fan fiction, which worries me as I've heard other people say that too. I know that E&P is set in the 80s and that might be good. It always worries me too when you have to think about which order you read books in.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm one for fifteen on this list, so I'm not a whole lot better than you. Fun idea for a list.
