Top Ten Tuesday is a great weekly meme from the folks at The Broke and the Bookish. I've been a rather infrequent Top Tenner for some time. Most of the time I don't have time to participate, but occasionally I manage to check out the schedule before hand and get myself organised. This makes two weeks in a row!
Still I would be very happy to unwrap any of these gems.

I do have to get better at reading books that were presents. I don't always get them read, and so Mr Wicker is reluctant to buy me books. I have to fix that.

I bought Goldfinch for my husband and figure I'll borrow it sometime. I've always wanted to read The Secret History as well.

ReplyDeleteI so relate to your comments about not wanting to acquire to many books but never being able to get through the big tomes on the library's timetable. I find myself sometimes halfway or 2/3 of the way through a book and have to return it to the library because its requested - I get so frustrated with myself! Glad you did get a couple on your wish list!
ReplyDeleteOn my wish list this year for Christmas were books by Matthew Quick and Sarah Zarr, along with author memoirs. I received two by Zarr and a couple memoirs. I've scheduled myself to review the latter in January, so that I know I'll actually read them in a timely fashion. :-)
