On my recent trip to Tasmania, I got to stay a few nights with my lovely friend Jane, who has a cute house, with a wonderful garden, full of interest-colour, texture and fragrance. A delight.
Saturday Snapshot, is a wonderful weekly meme from at home with books
What a gorgeous collection of photos. I love the variety of texture & colour!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - similar plants to my mum's garden in Bathurst.
ReplyDeleteLovely close-ups Louise.
It looks so lovely there - it's raining here in L.A., getting colder. Not that it does much!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the gorgeous flowers...what a wonderful and idyllic vacation!
ReplyDeleteHere's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
A lovely reminder of what flowers look like! We have none in flower at the moment and it's cold - definitely the first day of winter in the UK
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. My sister would just be drooling over them. She is such a great gardener, both outside and inside.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add....my sister's name is Jane also. Fun !!!!
ReplyDeleteYour travels make me so envious and your photos are always so gorgeous! What a beautiful world.
ReplyDeleteSummer flowers! How wonderful is that! If you could see how dark and damp and dreary and cold everything is outside you'd know why I am so enthusiastic about your photos! My Snapshot is athttp://goo.gl/xybNM
ReplyDeleteWhat an exotic place to call home. These flowers are beautiful. I'm just wondering the birds there must be as colourful. Thanks for sharing. I don't have a photo today but a movie review of Anna K.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful flowers! Irises are my dad's favorites and I love roses--but those first pink flowers are grabbing my eye today.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Snapshot.
Ooh - so pretty! I like the purple ones the best!
ReplyDeleteWe have all those same flowers here. Of course, not right now. It's comforting to know we share some of the same beautiful blooms. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteWow - gorgeous pics and if you didn't know it was Tassie, you'd swear it was springtime in England.....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see beautiful flowers in bloom. Everything is so dreary now that it's winter in the northern hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden -- and great photos of the plants and flowers.
