Bulbs and blossoms everywhere:
The wattle is starting to be a little past its prime, but still lovely
And I think this is the most magnificent Rhodendron I've ever seen. Massive plate sized blooms!
And this isn't even the birds that I went to photograph! They'll be for next week.
Saturday Snapshot, is a wonderful weekly meme from at home with books.
I love the internet! Leaves are starting to fall here in Texas and you recently walked through a beautiful garden with flowers blooming. Makes me realize my little part of the world is so very, very small (which is a good thing!)
ReplyDeleteLove the red tulips and the Comet sign. Very vintage! The flowers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThose are so lovely! Thank you for sharing them with us up here in North America where we are watching all our blooms fade.
ReplyDeleteWOW, so many lovely flowers there. Must be a beautiful place to visit.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Do you really have a plant called wattle? I thought that's what they call the skin under a turkey's neck! It's so funny to think of the spring as our leaves begin to turn. Here's My Saturday Snapshot
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! The vintage sign reminds me of an old 7-Up sign that was rusted out in a field I used to pass everyday on the way home...back when I lived in the foothills. You'll see some photos today of my time in the foothills in MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and

Your comment about spring threw me for a loop until I saw that you are in Australia. We are just starting fall here and the leaves are beginning to change. In a few weeks it should be beautiful here for a whole different reason. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI love spring! We are entering fall now which is a good time for photography, but all the flowers are dying and I will miss them. I'll have to relive spring through your photos until next year.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the bird photos. You have some of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen. (And I didn't have my 'good' camera yet when I visited Australia so I don't have pictures).
Those are lovely! It's early fall here, with mums and apples instead of spring flowers, so those are very refreshing.

I did a double take, and was thinking - wait, it's not spring! Then I realized you must be in the southern hemisphere. I like to think I would have been quicker on the uptake if I had some coffee here. :)
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are lovely - spring really is a wonderful time of the year!
So pretty..love the little bee at work in the pink blossoms.
ReplyDelete:)
Lovely pics - we're opposite your season now, heading into autumn.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! The leaves are just changing color here in Indiana. I'm hoping it hasn't been too dry for the good colors to come out (reds and oranges).
