A Walk by the Lake 2


I love a walk by the lake, it's not something I get to do all that often sadly, I took a nice walk by the lake earlier in the year, recently I got the chance again.

    Wonderful photos! It's amazing how things like that fishing spot stay the same in our memories.

    I especially love the water in the last gull photo - such a deep blue.

    I always enjoy wildlife and nature photos. The water is beautiful and the colorful Rosellas are so pretty.

    I'm jealous of the beautiful wildlife at your lake. Although, I suppose I might find some of the same if I took the time to walk around a lake with my camera. Thanks for showing us what is possible.

    I'm always in awe of people who can look at a bird and say more than "Oh look, a bird." I'm lucky to know a few species in my back yard but once you move past the robin, the bluejay, and the cardinal, I'm at a loss. Oh wait, I can also recognize a pigeon and a sparrow.

    The lichen on those roots is quite amazing. And I love those Rosellas in the trees - they're such beautiful birds.

    What a lovely outing! Those Rosellas would fascinate me - we don't have multi-colored birds like that around here.
