A Misty Morning

Winter isn't great but it does bring lovely, moody misty mornings. Not that I think mornings are that great either come to think of it.

The creek out the back of our place does look nice on these mornings though.

  1. Very peaceful and eerie.

We drove to Scotland thru the night in April and we saw eerie mist as we drove across Northern England into Scotland.

  4. I love that it's winter there! I'm so northern hemispher-istic that I forget.

  5. It is nice to see pictures of winter when I am sweating in 100 degree weather in Texas. And nice to see a creek with actual water in it!

  6. I love misty mornings...so surreal and mysterious.

Rivers and streams make nice backdrops, too, and I could kick myself for not taking more photos of the surrounding areas in the foothills where I lived for several years.

  9. Great photos! I could use a moody, misty morning right about now (we're in a severe drought).

  10. I'm not a morning person but it is amazing what you can miss out on while you are in bed. I love these!

  11. I like the way you captured the mist in those photos! Mornings aren't my favorite either. :)

  13. The second photo with the mist in distance has so much depth. It almost looks like a painting.

  14. Oh wow, love the look of the trees against the backdrop of the sky...such fantastic imagery

I especially like the second picture. After I looked at it for a while it made me think of a bad hair day! lol

  15. The first two pictures of trees gave that moodiness of the scene. One can paint them.
