Popping Down to the Shops - Coop Zurich

Wandering Zurich on our first afternoon we found The Coop- which was an incredible international supermarket experience.

We saw these guys everywhere.
I'm not really sure what they are.

I was not expecting a self service fried food bar
in the supermarket

There was chocolate everywhere in Switzerland.

Walls of it
Much of it was Lindt. 

Pretty boxes of it. 

You can pick your own
Sadly it seems I don't like Marc de Champagne

 They have tie dyed eggs!

The coloured eggs are cooked, ready to eat for picnics!



Hmm, um. No thanks. 

Tempting, but no room in the suitcase. 


Even Swiss pegs are cool.

    That's one shop I'd like to visit, with all those chocolates! You sure are a world traveller/shopper, Chris. Keep them coming... even if I can't go there, at least I can browse the beautiful catalogues. :)

    It's such fun to go shopping via your blog! I've never seen clothespins (that's what I call them) as fancy as those you pictured, and those colored eggs would brighten any picnic meal. And all that chocolate ... yummy. Thanks for the Zurich shopping experience.

    I love traveling via blog posts! I think I'd like Zurich...all that chocolate :)

    Some of our local grocery stores have self serve fried food bars. I love their chicken tenders and fries the most.

    I love the shops in Switzerland , why do we go into supermarkets , when at home I can stand them hahahha , Yes love just to look around them . Love the Chocolate aisles , mmm yummy.

    We have those pegs in the UK , and I read a comment that one lady calls them Clothespins.. different.
